Lindi and I managed to escape from the farm for a quiet weekend away in June. This is the amazing shag pad we found at the Wilderness Bush Camp. A secluded log cabin perched on top of a forested mountain. Its is very comfortable with a roaring fireplace, fantastic wrap-around-view and large balcony with a braai area.
This is the breathtaking view from the balcony of the cabin - albeit a rainy afternoon it was a perfect day. You can see the N2 snaking off into the distance along the coast, the sleepy estuary and Wilderness Village down below. On closer inspection you'll even spot the old steam train crossing the bridge over the river's mouth.
This is the same awesome view at sunset. Imagine cocktails on the deck, prawns on the braai, music in the air and a beautiful woman in your arms. Oh yes - we will be back to this spot.
no comments only a smile :)
